A 3 day basic river course that for those who work with moving water. Hydrology and hazards associated with moving water, shallow water crossings, self-rescue and skills for the rescue of others. Qualifies personnel to work in the “hot zone”.
A 2 day course for recreational boaters learning the basics of water rescue. Also for professional emergency services whose deployment includes rescue calls in the dark still water environments. Theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of the basics of swiftwater rescue are taught. Mixed classroom instruction and practical field exercise.
