USARC Beginner RAFT RACING Course

2 day overnight INTRO course offers a perfect blend of race paddle technique, rules, safety, Slalom, H2H, Sprint and downriver racing, under the guidance of our experienced coaches. Our course includes a mix of classroom instruction and on-water practice. Locations vary. Includes meals. Minimum class size of 8. info@usarc.us

USARC Judges Course

This 3 day comprehensive course is designed for individuals interested in becoming certified judges for USARC whitewater rafting events. Whether you're an experienced paddler or a newcomer to the sport, this course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to officiate in competitive whitewater rafting and rafting-based events. Includes all meals and snacks. The First 10 applicants per year  get $500 off their certificate course. Recertification is online. info@usarc.us

USARC Coaches Certification Course

 Rafting Coach Course is designed to cover the essential skills, knowledge, and teaching techniques required to coach aspiring USARC whitewater rafters. The hands on interactive 5 day intensive river course outlines assumes a blend of theoretical and practical instruction to ensure both safety and skill proficiency. Based on NASPE standards. USARC Swiftwater Certificate Safety Course level 1

A 3 day basic river course that  for those who work with moving water. Hydrology and hazards associated with moving water, shallow water crossings, self-rescue and skills for the rescue of others. Qualifies personnel to work in the “hot zone”. 

USARC Swiftwater First Responder Certificate level 1

A 2 day course for recreational boaters learning the basics of water rescue. Also for  professional emergency services whose deployment includes rescue calls in the dark still water environments. Theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of the basics of swiftwater rescue are taught. Mixed classroom instruction and practical field exercise. USARC GUIDE Beginner Certification Course

Designed specifically for beginners. This hands-on program will equip you with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to navigate rivers safely while enjoying the thrill of whitewater. By the end of this course, participants understand the fundamental principles of whitewater dynamics, perform essential maneuvers for effective navigation, assess river hazards gain familiarity with  equipment and develop teamwork skills necessary for group paddling.  Contact info@usarc.us  5 long days. 

USARC GUIDE CERTIFICATION and Trip Leading Course

An intensive 6 day Whitewater Rafting Trip Leader Certification Course for individuals seeking to enhance their whitewater leadership skills. Equips participants with the essential knowledge and hands-on experience required to lead whitewater rafting trips safely and effectively.  *Prerequisites: Prior experience in whitewater rafting, good level of physical fitness, understanding of river safety and rescue techniques. YOUTH Swiftwater Safety Course

JUNIOR GUIDE Course

Join us for an immersive and exciting Youth Whitewater Rafting Guide School Certification course designed for young adventurers aged 13 to 17. This hands-on program combines outdoor education with essential skills training, empowering youth  to safely navigate the thrilling world of whitewater rafting. Participants will gain the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed to become certified whitewater rafting guides. 5 days. Locations Vary. info@usarc.us
